Introducing the Flowserve patented axial field integral motor pumping system—an elevated design technology featuring advanced concepts new to the industry. Major design elements include: fully modular, integral permanent magnet disk motors, direct mounting on pipe, shaft-less, seal-less, couplingless, baseplate-less, stage-by-stage speed variability, intelligent individual stage controls, fail-safe, versatile configurations (horizontal, vertical and submersible), and flexible operating modes (pumps, turbine, turbocharger, etc.).

The project goals were to provide users with an unprecedented value and cost reduction throughout the life of the pumping system. These goals included significantly reduced door-to-door CO2 emissions by means of increased system efficiency and equipment simplifications, a system for modular process technologies, problem solver and significantly reduced total life-cycle costs.
