WINTERTHUR, Switzerland (May 4, 2017) -- Sulzer has appointed Jim Mugford as president and global head of its electromechanical services business.

Sulzer will be responsible for driving electromechanical strategy and collaborating with Sulzer's turbo and pumps services businesses.

According to a release, Mugford joined Sulzer in 2012 to restructure its Canadian turbo and pump services operations. He also grew the U.S. electromechanical business and helped integrate the North American pump services business into Sulzer's Rotating Equipment division.
