William M. Carnes, P.E., is chief engineer and a co-founder at Pioneer Pump Inc. He holds a BSME from Portland State University and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Oregon. He has worked directly in the design of centrifugal pumps and associated equipment for 29 years, and has taught many classes and authored many papers in the field.
