ECONO/HAT-RA thermostatic valves are designed to provide thermal relief for pumps experiencing low or no flow conditions (deadheading). Installed on the pump casing, the thermal actuator within the valve will automatically modulate open to discharge water that exceeds the customer-selected setpoint. Once the temperature decreases to acceptable levels, the valve closes again. This continuous modulation ensures efficient cooling, safeguarding against seal damage and potential pump failure.
