LOUISVILLE, KY (March 30, 2016) - Zoeller Company, a family-owned manufacturer of submersible sump and sewage pumps, recently opened a $4 million expansion at its headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. This latest addition, called The Center for Excellence, underscores the company’s dedication to providing not only the best quality in products and services but also a quality place for its employees and customers to learn about the pump industry.

Recognizing the importance of preserving the unique knowledge of its craftsmen and women, Zoeller Company has been active with training for many years. As the company and its customer base have increased, demand for a state-of-the-art training facility has also grown. “The new center allows training to be greatly enhanced,” says John E. Enyard, former engineering supervisor and the center’s new director. The 6,000-square-foot addition houses a state-of-the-art training space with classroom and hands-on laboratory. In addition, Zoeller Company’s research and development department will expand to occupy about 5,000 square feet. “We have always known the time for this would come. Since we began our training, the need has grown year after year. We are excited that the Board of Directors has allowed us this opportunity,” says John Zoeller, CEO. The company began using the center in September, training employees and reps. The space is also available for use by other professional and community organizations. Zoeller Company began building its popular line of sump/dewatering pumps in 1939. Today, the company has broadened its product lines to include hazardous environment pumps, preassembled package systems, backup systems, controls and accessories.
