SURREY, B.C. (Nov. 28, 2016) – Singer Valve has added two new members to its engineering department: Justin Arseneault as instrumentation and automation engineer and Marc Li as applications engineer. With the growing need for automation and innovative design in the water industry, both Arseneault and Li are meeting a much-needed demand at Singer. Together they bring the latest in design and technology so Singer can continue to push the boundaries in control valve innovation.
As instrumentation and automation engineer, Arseneault designs and programs Singer’s UL approved industrial panels, provides customer support for electronic products, is involved in training and research and development, and does much of the technical manual writing. With a bachelor's degree in mechatronics, his understanding of marrying mechanical with electronic automation is critical. Arseneault’s passion for efficiency means he is always looking for innovative ways to automate operations that can quickly realize significant return on investment.
As applications engineer, Li is focused on designing and implementing the optimal valve solution for specific customer requirements. Li goes into the field to understand the full scope of the project from which he designs the engineering solution and works with the production team to provide the best solution. With a master's degree in engineering, Li has a passion for spending time in the laboratory where he tests new ideas to validate different design approaches that can deliver even better results.
