The Middle East-North Africa (MENA) region is one of the driest areas on earth, where water resource availability is as acutely scarce. Yet this area is one of the fastest growing regions on earth, both in population and standard of living, leading to severe imbalance between water demand and availability. There is a dire need for water management and technologies that emphasize conservation, use efficiency, multiple reuse and adoption of advanced water technologies including desalination. For the fourth consecutive year, the Bilateral Chamber has assembled a first-rate panel including some of the world's foremost international water management experts. In addition to sharing information on the opportunities that exist for cooperation between water agencies in MENA and other developed nations, these thought leaders will explore a myriad of issues surrounding MENA's water demand and scarcity. Panelists include: Dr. Mohamed Dahab (moderator)
