Each year we showcase 10 up-and-coming professionals who have been nominated by their coworkers as representatives of the best and brightest in our industry, and every year we’re amazed by the accomplishments and drive of the individuals featured. Our fifth annual group of Top 10 to Watch is one of our favorites yet.
Their drive and passion for the industry are apparent, along with their deep respect for learning from those who came before them. And at the center of the reasons for that drive and passion? The people. Whether it’s their coworkers, their customers or the people in the communities they service, bettering the lives of the people they interact with is at the center of everything they do.
Some of the 2023 Top 10 fell into the industry and some dreamed of it from a young age. This year’s group includes reliability engineers, production managers and more, and their industries and product focuses vary from water and wastewater to nuclear and motors to automation.
Nominations for our annual Top 10 to Watch were submitted from readers and collected by our staff starting in June. These professionals are all under 40 years of age, and they have been working in the industry anywhere from three to 15 years. This year’s professionals were selected based on their roles, education, affiliations and the impact they have on their teams, companies and the industry.
We hope you’ll read about their experiences, thoughts about where the industry is headed and how they see themselves fitting into it. We also hope you’ll enjoy reading about who they are outside of work as much as we do. We’ve got bullriders, snowboarders and artists in this group!
