The Met-Pro Corporation received a $1.3 million order to supply 80 Fybroc brand pumps to a large aquarium outside of the United States. The order is expected to ship in the first quarter of next year.
Raymond J. De Hont, the company's CEO and chairman, recently announced the news. The company was selected for the project based on the Fybroc brand's experience in aquariums, life cycle and energy efficiency. Fybroc pumps have been installed in aquariums, aquaculture and marine-related institutions throughout the world.
The pumps, unaffected by saltwater, are being used in numerous countries including Australia, China, Europe, Hong Kong, Korea, New Zealand and multiple U.S. locations.
“Met-Pro Global Pump Solutions works closely with engineers, contractors and end customers around the world to provide the best solution to meet their fluid handling needs including quality, delivery, service, and energy efficiency,” De Hont said. “This order is another example of Met-Pro Global Pump Solutions’ global presence and the aquarium industry’s acknowledgement of their ability to provide the best solution for their saltwater fluid handling needs."
Met-Pro is headquartered in Pennsylvania. The company provides pump products that address the world's growing need for clean air and water, reduced energy consumption and improved operating efficiencies.
