As extreme weather events become more frequent and urban populations grow, increasing flow strains aging wastewater and stormwater collection infrastructure, creating a risk for environmentally impactful and costly overflow events.
Under normal conditions, wastewater flows by gravity to treatment plants. However, during heavy rainfall, snowmelt or peak-season wastewater generation, volume can surpass system capacity causing combined sewer overflows (CSOs). This can lead to flooding and untreated sewage and stormwater discharge into bodies of water, including rivers or lakes.
Join us as Industrial Flow Solutions launches a new, patented technology: the OverWatch Gravity Line Accelerator. This groundbreaking design integrates technology, reliability and efficiency by:
- Significantly reducing or eliminating combined sewer overflow (CSO) events
- Cost-effectively increasing flow and capacity within existing networks
- Economically enhancing network performance to facilitate future expansions
- Prevents severe backups, environmental damage and costly overflows
