Process plants around the world struggle to increase the life of the mechanical seals utilized in their pumps. In fact, ask any pump user and they will tell you that mechanical seals are the number one reason their pumps are failing.

While the typical indication of failure in a given pump is leakage from the mechanical seal, it is seldom the seal that has actually failed, and more times than not, it is something in the system that has caused the seal to leak.

This webinar will look at how/why seals fail, the data behind seal failure causes and help to explain what is really happening and most importantly, what pump users can do to mitigate these failures and extend the life of their pumps and systems.
