New Associate Editor Hired, Circulation Increased
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (June 21, 2012) – Growth, an increase in circulation and positive feedback from a loyal readership have led to a decision from Cahaba Media Group to increase the frequency of Upstream Pumping Solutions magazine from four to six times a year, beginning in 2013.
Upstream Pumping Solutions began publication with a spring issue in 2010 and has published quarterly since then. It offers drilling contractors and well completion professionals the practical, hands-on knowledge that readers in the oil and gas industry expect from Pumps & Systems, the leading magazine for pump users worldwide, also published by Cahaba Media Group.
“With so much positive growth with the magazine and in the industry, a move to six times per year just made sense,” said Upstream Pumping Solutions Editor, Lori Ditoro. “We are excited about the opportunity to share even more technical information and case studies with our readers.”
Upstream Pumping Solutions’ BPA-qualified circulation has increased to 13,000 from the original 10,000 readers in 2010. In addition, Upstream Pumping Solutions is delivered to 760 Original Equipment Manufacturers with about 1,000 copies annually distributed at key industry tradeshows including Offshore Technology Conference, Global Petroleum Show, Permian Basin Oil Show, SPE ATCE and others.
To help with the increase in editorial coverage, Cahaba Media Group has hired Gary Lloyd as the Associate Editor for both Upstream Pumping Solutions and Pumps & Systems magazines, effective July 9, 2012.
