MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (April 29, 2013) – Michael J. Burdulis, age 67, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Born December 12, 1945 in Scranton, he was a son of the late Anthony and Evangeline Burdulis. He was a retired Corporate Executive from Coltec Industries. He was a real techie, loved spending time with his grandchildren and his dog Phoebe, and enjoyed bowling, golf, travel, and reading. He was awarded a bachelor of science degree in business in 1974 by Rochester Institute of Technology.
 
Mr. Burdulis joined Garlock in 1968 as an entry-level accountant and advanced through increasingly responsible positions including vice president and general manager of Garlock's Lubrikup Operation in 1986 and president of Garlock's Industrial Sealing Products unit.  He was named president of Coltec’s Central Moloney Transformer Division in 1991 and was named president of Garlock Mechanical Packing in 1994. 
 
Surviving are his loving wife, Nancy; two daughters, Michelle (Charles Jr.) Light, of Middletown, Tracy (James) Bixler of Mechanicsburg; nine grandchildren.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cumberland Goodwill Ambulance EMS P.O.
