OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (Oct. 1, 2013) – Heather Howley will work alongside Laurie Auger and Michele Gometz in customer service for BJM Pumps. She will assist with inquiries, referring end users to the distribution network, assist customers with product price and availability questions and numerous other duties. Howley's background is in project management in the graphics and printing industry. She is a graduate of Middlesex College in Connecticut with a degree in Marketing. She lives in East Haddam with her husband, Dave, and three children, Ethan, Julia and Nora and their Doberman Roy. Suzette Gibson is the new marketing assistant and will report to Mike Bjorkman, Director of Marketing and Information Technology. Gibson's responsibilities include assisting with marketing projects, execution of trade shows, providing marketing support and materials to the sales team and assisting with website management. Previously, Gibson coordinated marketing for the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, Ocean State Auto Auction in Exeter, R.I., and served as a public relations account executive for MD&C Advertising and PR in New Haven, Conn. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Conn., and resides in Mystic, Conn. In her spare time, Gibson enjoys volunteering as an EMT, cooking, hiking and golf. BJM Pumps provides fluid handling solutions for industrial and municipal services.
