NEWNAN, Ga. (Nov. 1, 2013) – Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that Rene Aldana will become the managing director of Yokogawa Canada Inc. He will report to Yokogawa Corporation America President Mr. Chester J. Mroz. In this position, Mr. Aldana will be responsible for overseeing all Yokogawa business operations in Canada. With his experience and reputation as a strong leader in the industrial automation industry, Yokogawa is well positioned to continue expanding its business in the Canadian market. Mr. Aldana has close to 20 years of experience in automation solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, he joined Valmet in Canada which later became Metso, Telvent and finally Schneider Electric where he held roles in Customer Service, Project Management and Regional Business Management. In 2008, Mr. Aldana completed an executive MBA and was later promoted to Vice President Oil and Gas International, responsible for sales, delivery and customer service, managing Schneider operations in Europe, Latin America, UAE and China.
