CRANBURY, N.J. (Feb. 11, 2014) – CRP Industries Inc. has named Caitlin Travers as Senior Applications Engineer for its CRP Industrial business unit. Ms. Travers will provide direct engineering support to the CRP customer base as well as sales support, primarily focusing on the Perske Electric Motors and ContiTech Industrial Belt lines. She will also be responsible for managing and evaluating current and potential CRP product applications against industry benchmarks, in order to better meet the needs of CRP Industrial customers in the marketplace. Prior to joining CRP, Caitlin Travers served at Westinghouse Electric Company as a Senior Equipment Qualification Engineer for the past six and a half years. During her tenure at Westinghouse, she was responsible for developing and executing qualification test programs for pumps, valves, motors, seals and other mechanical equipment for safety related use in nuclear power plants. Travers holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and has received a patent for truck ingress/egress applications. She has expressed excitement at joining the CRP team and is delighted to be moving to the east coast after residing in Western Pennsylvania for the last 10 years.
