FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (Oct. 8, 2014) – Larson Davis is now A2LA accredited to calibrate microphones, sound level meters, acoustic calibrators and noise dosimeters as described in ISO 17025. Larson Davis has also updated their sound level meter calibration for Models 831 and LxT to now provide a calibration that is fully compliant with the requirements of IEC 61672-3 and ANSI S1.4-2014/Part 3 to help ensure product performance. The comprehensive testing includes 33 tests with results that take more than 20 pages to document. By sending Larson Davis products for factory calibration, customers will receive a complete calibration, updated firmware, free replacement of worn consumables and a one-year extension of the labor warranty up to seven years. The extended labor warranty requires annual calibration of the product. The A2LA accredited certificates and additional services are provided as the Larson Davis CAL+ service package and are offered at rates competitive with other testing facilities.
