WATERBURY, Conn. (Feb. 10, 2015) – Hubbard-Hall announced that Gerry Mastropietro has been appointed as the chief operating officer and executive vice president. Mastropietro will be reporting to Molly Kellogg, president and CEO of Hubbard-Hall.

“This is a great role for Gerry. With 32 years at Hubbard-Hall, he knows the ins and outs of our operation and understands the demands of our customers,” Kellogg said. “We also share a belief that the principles of lean manufacturing are key to Hubbard-Hall’s future success.” As chief operating officer and executive vice president, Mastropietro will be responsible for the company’s operations at all three locations, as well as environmental health and safety and security, purchasing and customer service. Mastropietro was promoted from the role of senior vice president, in which he oversaw sales for the company’s Distribution Division. “Coming into this position with a sales background, I always have the goal of satisfying our customer’s needs ingrained in the back of my mind,” Mastropietro said. “This means getting the product out the door that has 100 percent product consistency, delivered on-time and to able to quickly respond to our customers’ needs.” A big part of Mastropietro’s new role will include making our operations as efficient as possible through our Lean program at Hubbard-Hall. “The leaner we are as a company the better we can service our customers,” Mastropietro said. With roots from 1849, Hubbard-Hall’s mission is to tackle global manufacturers’ complex surface finishing and wastewater treatment problems.
