MISSISSAUGA, Ontario (Feb. 11, 2015) – Michael Blundell has been appointed president of KSB Group’s USA operation headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. The KSB Group, an international manufacturer of pumps, valves and related systems is headquartered in Frankenthal, Germany.

Blundell will also continue to serve as President of KSB’s Canadian subsidiary, aligning the management and strategy in the two North American countries. “This is a very exciting opportunity,” comments Blundell. “KSB has a worldwide reputation for technical excellence and innovative products. I strongly believe that the company’s focus on providing customers with the best in reliable, energy-efficient pumping solutions will assure us success in the future.”

Blundell is a native of New Zealand and graduated from the University of Portsmouth (UK) in electronic engineering.
The Germany-based KSB Group, which generated a global turnover of €2.184 billion in 2014, has been a manufacturer of pump technology for over 140 years. The group’s U.S. subsidiary, KSB Inc., began operations in 1974 and provides American customers with equipment and services for a wide range of fluid handling applications, including municipal and industrial water and wastewater systems, manufacturing industries and power generation.
