EASA Announces New Officers & Executive Committee

ST. LOUIS (June 25, 2015) – The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) announces new international officers for the 2015-2016 administrative year. The new officers are:

• Chairman of the Board: Mike Dupuis of Morrish Electro Mechanical Company, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
• Vice-Chairman: Jim Smith of Advanced Electric Equipment in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
• Secretary/Treasurer: Lenwood Ireland of Ireland Electric in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Dupuis has more than 30 years of experience in the electrical apparatus industry. He previously served as president of EASA’s Ontario Chapter and as director of Region 8. Serving on the Executive Committee with the above officers are Immediate Past Chairman Doug Moore of Kentucky Service Company in Lexington, Kentucky, Gary Byars of Heavy Machines, Inc in Memphis, Tennessee, and Brian Larry of Larry Electric Motor Services, Ltd. in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. The Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) is an international trade organization consisting of approximately 2,000 electromechanical sales and service firms in 59 countries. Through its many engineering and education programs, EASA keeps members up to date on materials, equipment and state-of-the-art technology related to sales, service and maintenance of motors, generators, drives, controls, pumps and other electromechanical equipment.
