Sulzer Appoints Head of Sales for North American Mining & Construction Segment

MERIDEN, Conn. (June 24, 2016) -- Sulzer is pleased to announce that Phillip Nelson has joined the company as the head of sales for the North American Mining & Construction segment.

Nelson joins Sulzer with more than 30 years of experience in the rotating equipment industry with extensive focus on sales and distribution management. With an emphasis on the dewatering and mining markets, he has worked for BJM, Grindex and Godwin, and most recently, Stancor Pumps, as national sales manager. His experience in the pump industry started more than 20 years ago with ABS Pumps. Nelson lives in Woodstown, New Jersey, with his family and is based out of the Meriden, Connecticut, office. He is excited about this opportunity and looks forward to working with the current distribution as well as meeting the challenges in growing the Mining & Construction segment throughout North America.
