JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 21, 2017)—The Stenner Pump Company is celebrating its 60th year as a manufacturer of peristaltic metering pumps for the water industry. The company has evolved since 1957 when it was founded by Gustav Stenner as a post-retirement interest, according to a statement from the company. Since 1995, the company has been privately owned by Tim Ware, who joined Stenner with a vision and has driven the company to expand its product line and market reach, according to the statement. The growth has resulted in four locations—two in Jacksonville, Florida, where Stenner’s headquarters is located, and one each in Kansas and New York. The “Inspired by Our Customers” anniversary logo credits Stenner’s success to the relationship with its customers, the company said. Stenner said its philosophy is to maintain a commitment to customer satisfaction while manufacturing high-quality, reliable products. The company pointed to its employees as a major contributing factor to its success. Stenner said 31 percent of its employees have been with the company for more than 10 years, and 49 percent of the company is employee-owned. The Stenner Pump Company manufactures peristaltic metering pumps for reliable and accurate dosing of liquid solutions for disinfection, pH adjustment, iron stain removal, animal health, corrosion and scale control and more. Stenner's pump line includes variable speed, proportional, flow activated, 1:128 medicators and electromechanical pumps, tank systems, meter systems and pump accessories.
