CANBY, Oregon -- Pioneer Pump last month named Steve Schoenbrun as its new principal engineer. Schoenbrun succeeds Bill Carnes in the position, which includes hydraulic design and testing, new product development and serving as a key technical resource for the company. According to a Pioneer Pump release, Schoenbrun holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Portland State in Oregon. With more than three decades of experience, he previously served as a project engineer at Sulzer Pumps and chief engineer and VP of Engineering at Cornell Pump. Schoenbrun will be based at Pioneer Pump's Canby, Oregon facility.
