CINCINNATI, Ohio -- CECO Environmental's Board of Directors has appointed Dennis Sadlowski Chief Executive Office. Sadlowski has been acting as interim CEO since January 2017, when previous CEO Jeff Lang stepped down. “The board, under the leadership of a special search committee and with a nationally recognized executive recruiting firm, conducted a review of both internal and external candidates and determined that Dennis is the best choice for CEO. CECO is very fortunate to have someone with Dennis’ experience, leadership skills and character. During his tenure as interim CEO, Dennis spent considerable time with the Company’s customers, suppliers and employees and has a running start as the permanent CEO to help CECO achieve its strategic and financial goals, including driving increasing shareholder value. Mr. Sadlowski also previously worked at General Electric and Thomas & Betts. Mr. Sadlowski continues to serve on the board of directors and audit committee of Trojan Battery, a privately-held global leader in deep cycle lead-acid batteries. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Nuclear Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, and his Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University.
