Ebara Establishes South African Company

Italy-based Ebara Pumps Europe is expanding to South Africa, the company has announced. Ebara has established a new company in Johannesburg, South Africa, for sales of standard pumps for household, general industrial and construction-industry use. The company will employ around 30 people, according to company records. Ebara Pumps Europe, a subsidiary of Japan's Ebara Corporation, employs more than 500 people in Brendola, Italy. The company posted sales of around 106 million Euros in fiscal year 2016.
