GRAY, La. – Danos announced that David Decuir has been promoted to technical solutions manager, a position responsible for leadership of the company’s compliance training department. Decuir joined Danos in 2016 as a production manager, working to develop and implement field management business models and advising clients on safe and efficient operations. He previously worked as a production operator, working his way up to offshore production foreman and, later, production superintendent. This experience in field work has provided him with expertise in federal regulations, simultaneous operations, production and pipeline process equipment, as well as liquid and gas measurement equipment. In his new role, he will continue working with a team of production specialists to develop workshops and presentations specific to customer needs as well as conducting hands-on skill assessments among employees. He is leading a project to create a competency model that will be applied across all the company’s service lines. “One of our core values as a company is developing great people,” said Eric Danos, owner and executive over human resources, finance, safety and land. “David and his team do an outstanding job bringing together training experts and technical experts in order to solve challenges for our customers.” Decuir obtained a bachelor’s degree from Nicholls University in petroleum engineering technology and an associate degree in safety management. He currently is pursuing an executive Master of Business Administration, also from Nicholls.
