OAK CREEK, Wis. — AW-Lake COMPANY announces the appointment of Robert Murphy as Vogtlin Sales Channel Manager responsible for new international business growth and customer service. With more than 30 years of sales and service management experience with instrumentation companies, Murphy will be a crucial player in building and strengthening relationships with sales representatives as they introduce Vogtlin thermal mass instrumentation to new diverse markets. In his previous position at Bronkhorst USA, Inc., Murphy served as regional sales manager in building new customer relationships while managing six rep firms throughout the western U.S. He also worked for Coastal Instruments as National Sales Manager for nine years, expanding the business into new industries including biotech, pharma, medical, semiconductors and OEMs. Murphy also held sales management and executive positions at Horiba/Stec, Aera Corporation, and Unit instruments. In addition to his diverse sales management experience, Murphy holds an A.S. in Electronic Computer Engineering from ITT Technical Institute with a strong focus on telecommunications, robotics and microprocessor technology. “Robert offers a unique blend of sales management experience and knowledge of thermal mass instrumentation to support the Vogtlin business as the company introduces new products to our existing customers as well as new global markets,” notes Mark Iverson, General Manager, AW-Lake Company.
