ROTHERHAM, England - AESSEAL is coming off success at two prestigious awards ceremonies. The South Yorkshire-based mechanical seals design and manufacturing company received the award for International Trade at TheBusinessDesk.com’s Yorkshire Business Masters Awards 2018. On the same evening, it received the Manufacturing Apprenticeship/Training Award in the Made in Sheffield (MiS) Awards, which celebrate excellence in manufacturing across the city region. The two awards come within weeks of AESSEAL managing director Chris Rea receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award in the British Pump Manufacturers’ Association (BPMA) Pump Industry Awards, citing his ‘significant and consistent contribution the pump industry’ over his 39-year career. The Business Masters Award for International Trade is an acknowledgement of the significant growth in the overseas sales AESSEAL has achieved, its ability to identify and capitalize on growth markets, investment in product development for overseas countries and the international expansion of its award winning customer service provision. The MiS Manufacturing Apprenticeship/Training Award reflects the company’s longstanding commitment to tackling the regional skills shortage, working in collaboration with the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Resource Centre and South Yorkshire colleges to provide high quality engineering, manufacturing and higher education apprenticeships. “We’re particularly proud and honoured to have received two such diverse awards from two highly respected organisations as Made in Sheffield and TheBusinessDesk.com," Rea said. “They’re a great reflection of the issues that AESSEAL® is passionate about – constantly investing and innovating to expand our brand into new markets, and providing a strong and supportive learning environment to develop high caliber, highly skilled engineers of the future.”
