SANT'ILARIO d'ENZA, Italy - Interpump Group announces the acquisition of 100 percent of Ricci Engineering Srl, a start-up company which designs, builds and installs plants for breweries and winemakers. The company mainly operates in the promising business of micro-brewery plants and in only a few years, it has reached yearly sales of about 2 million euro, with a 2018 earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) expected around 10%. Total price paid was 0.6 million euros ($693,000), including an expected financial position of 150,000 euros ($193,000) in net cash. Founder Mauro Ricci will remian coordinating the activities in this application sector from his new position within the Interpump Group. Today’s transaction is part of a micro-acquisition program which is in addition to the program of larger M&A operations characterizing Interpump’s history, and on which the Group keeps working intensively.
