Grundfos Acquires Metasphere

BJERRINGBRO, Denmark – Grundfos has completed the acquisition of XPV Water Partners portfolio company Metasphere.

According to Grundfos, "Water system failures cost cities a total of $194 billion annually – a number which will rise with climate change and resulting extreme weather events. Sewer networks are heavily impacted, but with Internet-of-Things-enabled hardware and weather data, coupled with strong analytics, the challenges can be significantly reduced."

Grundfos hopes this acquisition will allow them to better combat water challenges going forward.
