FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, a developer, manufacturer and supplier of precision seals, bearings and custom-molded polymer components, has promoted David Kaley to Global Segment Manager for Industrial Automation.

DANVILLE, Ill. – American Event Services has announced that it has closed on the acquisition of Canariis Corporation, a privately owned manufacturer of custom UL-listed packaged HVAC, plumbing and fire-protection systems. Under terms of the agreement, Riverview, Fla.-based Canariis will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of AES under the leadership of Steven St. John, president of Canariis. St. John retains a significant ownership position in the combined companies.
LAWRENCE, Mass. – Asahi/America, Inc. has announced the addition of Damon Cuestas to the technical field service team, effective as of February 5, 2024. Cuestas will assist customers with training and installing Asahi/America’s single and double wall industrial and high purity piping systems through thermofusion processes.
ZURICH, Switzerland – The ABB board of directors has appointed Morten Wierod as chief executive officer. He will take office on August 1, 2024, and succeed Björn Rosengren, who will step down from his position as chief executive officer effective July 31, 2024, and retire as of December 31, 2024.
From August 1, 2024, until the end of the year, Rosengren will advise and assist Wierod and the executive committee to ensure a seamless transition.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Zoeller Company has announced that Bill Zoeller will become CEO, effective May 1, 2024. Zoeller Company’s board of directors, with the support of executive search firm Kensington International, selected Bill, current chief operating officer, to lead the company as CEO upon the retirement in May of John Zoeller, who will have served for 22 years.
ESPOO, Finland – Valmet's board of directors has appointed Thomas Hinnerskov president and CEO of Valmet, and he will start in the position during the second half of the year. Hinnerskov succeeds Pasi Laine, who will continue as the president and CEO of Valmet until his successor starts.
