NEW BERLIN, Wis. -  ACS Group (Sterlco Steam Control Products) has announced it has promoted Lee Xiong to the position of steam application engineering manager. Reporting to Brad Fax, business unit manager, he will be responsible for overseeing the eEngineering team. Xiong's focus will be on product enhancement, new product development, and value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) related projects to drive improvement in the steam segment of ACS’s business. 

ASHLAND, Ohio – SJE Inc. has purchased Ohio Electric Control, Inc. (OEC), effective December 1, 2021. Located just down the street from SJE’s existing facility in Ashland, Ohio, OEC brings to the partnership  expertise in control solutions and strong customer relationships. Through the purchase, SJE will be able to offer additional technical resources and manufacturing capabilities that will augment OEC’s current capacity and provide access to a broader product offering. 

ARVADA, Colo. – Sundyne announced that it has expanded its office footprint in India. The India office was initially established to serve local opportunities and to provide engineering support for Sundyne’s Arvada USA, Dijon France, HMD-UK and Marelli-Spain operations. Over the last year, collaboration between the India office and other Sundyne locations has grown exponentially, necessitating the office footprint expansion. 

MCLEAN, Va. — The Copper Development Association, Inc. (CDA) announced the appointment of Andrew G. Kireta, Jr. as the association’s next President & CEO, effective January 1, 2022. He succeeds Thomas S. Passek, who will retire at the end of 2021 after nearly seven years with the organization.
