FLIR Systems, Inc. introduces A310 f and A310 pt, two new remote monitoring systems featuring extensive thermal analysis functions and Ethernet/IP connectivity. Protective housings enable customers to remotely monitor temperature analysis outdoors and in hazardous locations in real time.
FLIR A310 pt is a pan-tilt system with two environmental housings, one for the A310 thermal camera and another for a day/night 36x zoom color CCD camera. It’s the first remote temperature measurement system that can plug and play into existing CCTV networks and IPTV security networks. A precision pan-tilt mechanism gives operators accurate pointing control while providing fully programmable scan patterns, radar slew-to-cue, and slew-to-alarm functionality.
The FLIR A310 f is a fix-mounted system featuring an A310 thermal camera protected by an IP66 environmental housing.
Both systems provide uninterrupted, real-time temperature measurement and difference analysis, automatic alarms and Ethernet/IP connectivity for easy networking and remote control.
Remote critical asset monitoring is all the rage these days. First, thermal imaging can play a pivotal role in determining critical temperature issues before they cause catastrophic failures. Second, multi-sensor solutions such as the A310 pt ensure a high level of security for the new NERC CIP programs. Other applications include monitoring coal piles, warehouses, critical vessels, heat-exchangers and substations. With access to valuable calibrated thermal data, users can make mission-critical decisions remotely and reduce costly downtime maintenance problems.
