Heinz P. Bloch resides in Montgomery, Texas. Since 1962, his professional career included long-term assignments as Exxon Chemical’s regional machinery specialist for the United States. He has authored or co-written over 750 publications, among them 22 comprehensive books on practical machinery management, failure analysis, failure avoidance, compressors, steam turbines, pumps, oil mist lubrication and optimized lubrication for industry. Bloch holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science (cum laude) in mechanical engineering from NCE, New Jersey Institute of Technology’s Newark College of Engineering.
