LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 7, 2013) – CRS Reprocessing Services, LLC (CRS) announced its acquisition of Kilgore, Texas-based Solids Solutions, LLC. Solids Solutions’ employees, including key management personnel, will join CRS’ existing team of highly skilled professionals, operating as CRS Reprocessing Oil & Gas Services and reporting to Michael Heath, CRS’ global general manager. Scott Massie, CEO of CRS, says the acquisition of Solids Solutions helps fulfill an essential part of CRS’ growth strategy in the oil and gas market, particularly in the Texas plays. “This acquisition allows rapid expansion of our footprint in Texas and adds new bases of operation to those already existing in both Texas and Pennsylvania.” Massie pointed out that Solids Solutions strengthens CRS’ thirty-plus years of reprocessing experience. “The acquisition expands our range of solutions to include simple solids control as well as industry-leading reprocessing offerings that utilize our proprietary technologies.
