Following its successful launch, the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) will be held for the second time from 28th to 30th June 2016 at Paris Le Bourget, hall 2B. Larger and more international, it will occupy 50 percent more space and is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors from all around the world. Highly international and business oriented, this biennial event covers the entire civil nuclear industry and will enable all those involved to present their know-how, to discuss experiences and best practices, to forge partnerships, to find new suppliers and to build their exports. “The civil nuclear industry in the global energy mix” is the theme of the second WNE. Extending the operating lives and maintaining existing power plants, new projects and future technologies, the fuel cycle, finance, skills and training are the key themes that will be addressed during the various events and high points that will take place during WNE 2016, including the awards ceremony, panel discussions, exhibitor workshops followed by networking sessions, business meetings, side events for professionals and visits to industrial sites. New in 2016 Innovation and technologies at the heart of the event The nuclear industry is a high tech industry in which research and innovation play major roles. Being held for the second time, WNE will shine the spotlight on the companies that ensure the industry’s excellence by organizing a wide ranging support programme:

About the AIFEN WNE is an AIFEN (the French Nuclear Industry Exporters’ Association) event, and the association represents over 300 French companies and large organizations (PFCE, PFME, GIIN, PNB) involved in all parts of the nuclear cycle, from fuel production to decommissioning.
