CLACKAMAS, Ore. (Feb.25, 2016) – Cornell Pump has announced that Christopher Bridgewater has joined Cornell Pump as the Southwest agricultural regional manager, with responsibilities for irrigation, farm dewatering and manure in California, the desert Southwest and the Mountain West. Bridgewater has more than 20 years experience in the water well and agricultural industries, working in the entire supply chain process from manufacturing to installation. He has spent the last nine years as a territory manager, increasing sales in his area by more than 600 percent. Bridgewater joins Cornell Pump, as Cornell celebrates its 70th year as an agricultural pump company. He’ll support the continued rollout of Edge End Gun boosters, robust manure pumps, V-series pump line and other American agricultural products. “Chris is a valuable addition to the sales team,” said Marcus Davi, Cornell Pump VP of sales. “He has a wealth of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities that will help our customers, and ultimately Cornell, succeed. We’re excited to see Chris take on new challenges with Cornell. It is very fortunate that we were able to secure someone of Chris’ caliber to fulfill this newly created role. I’m confident that he’ll play a key part in providing high quality pumping solutions throughout the Southwest.” Bridgewater will be responsible for distributor sales support and customer relations in California, Nevada, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. He will be based out of Colorado. Cornell Pump Company provides centrifugal pumps for industrial, agricultural, mining and municipal applications.
