HOUSTON, Texas (June 15, 2016)—CURFLO, manufacturer of ANSI pumps and parts located in Houston, Texas, welcomed Frank Hemmen and David Silva to the team.
Frank Hemmen joins CURFLO as a sales engineer with 35 years of experience in the pump industry. His experience includes promotion, selection, installation and commissioning, as well as assisting in the proper selection of the right equipment for many applications. Hemmen has also worked within the organizations of several manufacturers to develop new product lines or design improvements to the performance of existing lines. Before joining CURFLO, he worked for Applied Industrial Technologies, which is now one of CURFLO’s master distributors.
David Silva joins CURFLO as a sales engineer with 36 years of experience in various types of process equipment sales and reliability upgrades with an emphasis on pumps both sealed and sealless. He has also integrated material engineering into this product mix. Silva has worked for Flowserve, along with regional manufacturers and distributors from Mobile, Alabama, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. For the last 26 years, Silva has worked in the Houston market. Customers include end users, engineering contractors and other distribution outlets.
