With the explosive growth of connected devices in the communications world, it is important that water treatment providers understand how these changes can impact their business, according to the company. “As a thought leader in the water industry, U.S. Water is committed to providing quality content at the AWT Annual Conference, which we have been doing for many years,” said LaMarr Barnes, U.S. Water’s senior executive vice president of marketing and strategy. “This year, Michael Henk and Jim Lukanich will show AWT attendees how to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs through the effective use of the internet and the latest biological testing methods.” “The Internet of Things and Its Impact on the Water Treatment Industry” will be presented on Sept. 8 by Henk, who is U.S. Water’s director of automation and service. On Sept. 9, Lukanich, who serves as U.S. Water’s director of applied technology, will present “Biological Testing Methods for Cooling Water – Tests, Interpretation & Reality.” This workshop will review the methodology, application and proper interpretation of biological test method results.
