FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Franklin Electric Co., Inc. has acquired Australian-based PumpEng Pty Ltd., a global original equipment manufacturer of submersible pumps targeted to the mining sector. This acquisition continues to strengthen Franklin Electric’s commitment to the mining industry and complements existing operations in Australia under the Pioneer Pump and Minetuff brands.
Headquartered in Perth, Western Australia, PumpEng is a $12.5 million AUD business with locations in Kalgoorlie, Townsville, Adelaide and Twin Falls, Idaho. The company offers a targeted portfolio of dewatering pumps under recognized brands, including JetGuard, Guardian and Raptor. All PumpEng products are assembled in Australia in ISO 9001/14001 and ATEX-certified manufacturing facilities.
