BALTIMORE, Md. - John Galyen, president of Danfoss North America since 2011, has announced his retirement from Danfoss later this summer. Rick Sporrer, VP Sales America for Danfoss Power Solutions, has been appointed to succeed Galyen. Over the next several months, Galyen and Sporrer will work together to ensure a successful transition, with Sporrer fully assuming the role on July 1.

DALLAS, Texas - CECO Environmental Corporation announced it has acquired Compass Water Solutions, Inc., a  global supplier of membrane-based industrial water and wastewater treatment systems that help customers achieve regulatory compliance of water discharge at the lowest lifecycle cost. The transaction adds to CECO's growing industrial water technologies.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The board of directors of Franklin Electric Co., Inc., has elected Chris Villavarayan to be a director of the company effective May 6, 2022.

MANSFIELD, Ohio -- The Gorman-Rupp Company announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Fill-Rite and Sotera (Fill-Rite), a division of the Tuthill Corporation, for $525 million. When adjusted for approximately $80 million in expected tax benefits, the net transaction value is approximately $445 million. Gorman-Rupp expects to fund the transaction with cash on-hand and new debt.
