MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (Oct. 3, 2014) – Phoenix Contact has officially opened its newly expanded U.S. Development and Manufacturing (D&M) facility in Lower Swatara Township, Pennsylvania. The company recently finished construction on a 125,000-square-foot addition to better accommodate its growing workforce and the increased demand for locally manufactured products.

IRVING, Texas (Sept. 30, 2014) – Flowserve Corporation announced that it has received a major order to provide multiple pumping systems to Alstom, a France-based global leader in power generation. The orders, totaling approximately $30 million, were booked in the second quarter of 2014. The pumping systems will be used for boiler feedwater and condensate service at two units for a new ultra-supercritical (USC), coal-fired power plant in Opole, Poland.
