As 2021 has seen us all getting back on our feet and into our workplaces after the shake-up from COVID-19, there are some up-and-comers in the industry still pushing for change and improvement in their communities. The 10 Pump Professionals to Watch section has become one of our favorites, as it gives us an opportunity to celebrate 10 outstanding pump professionals. This honor helps Pumps & Systems show off the dynamic personalities and talent that work in this industry. Each year, we hold up these 10 individuals as examples for the next generation by honoring their accomplishments and drive, and we celebrate their employers for giving these employees the space to learn and shine.
Below, you will find 10 individuals who were nominated by someone at their company as an up-and-comer to keep your eye on. These 10 people range from engineering managers to application engineers to millwrights. Their experience spans from 19 years to just two. They come from different parts of the world and represent diversity in experience and training. The honorees are excited about ushering in sustainability goals, technological advancements and finding meaning in a career where their knowledge is needed in every sector. Nominations were collected from readers for the 10 Pump Professionals to Watch starting in June. Applications were reviewed by magazine editors as well as members of our Editorial Advisory Board. These professionals—all under 40 years of age—were chosen for the roles they serve in, the education they’ve completed, the boards and associations they belong to and the effort they put in to contributing to their companies and communities. We are honored to congratulate Pumps & Systems’ third group of 10 Pump Professionals to Watch. Pay attention—they’re just getting started.
