Ralph Merullo holds degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and manufacturing engineering from the U.S. Army in affiliation with Texas A&M University. Merullo has been in the rotating equipment industry for more than 25 years—designing, manufacturing and specifying mechanical sealing devices. He has held various positions in manufacturing engineering, application engineering and training at A.W. Chesterton Company. He has published articles on water conservation and mechanical seal failure analysis in industry publications. Merullo is currently manager of Applications Engineering and Sales Support at A.W. Chesterton Company in Groveland, Massachusetts.
