WIESBADEN, Germany - ITT Inc has signed an agreement to acquire the Rheinhütte Pumpen Group from Belgium’s Aliaxis Group SA for approximately $91.5 million.
Headquartered in Wiesbaden, Germany, Rheinhütte designs and manufactures centrifugal and axial flow pumps for chemical, mining, renewable energy and refinery applications. Rheinhütte employs 430 people and anticipates full-year 2018 revenues of around $66 million.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Power management company Eaton announced that Kerry Tingley has been named vice president and general manager of its Industrial Controls Division, effective March 1. She will be responsible for leading Eaton’s strategic growth and new product development initiatives for industrial control solutions used by machine builders, commercial and industrial customers.
The Weir Group announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell its Flow Control division to First Reserve, a global private equity investment firm focused exclusively on energy, for an enterprise value of £275m, payable in cash and subject to customary working capital and debt-like adjustments at closing. The transaction remains subject to certain regulatory and other approvals, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2019.
