DALLAS, Texas - The Dallas Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) named Mathew Busby, P.E., as its 2019 Young Engineer of the Year. The award, given by TSPE since 1967, recognizes individuals for their technical ability, professional achievements, and civic and humanitarian activities. Busby will be presented the award at the TSPE Engineer’s Week Annual Awards Luncheon on Feb. 20, 2019, at the Plano Event Center.

HOUSTON – Wild Well Control, a Superior Energy Services company, has announced the expansion of its Montrose facility at South Ferryden, U.K.

Wild Well, which provides well control response, subsea and well control engineering and training services, maintains the WellCONTAINED subsea containment system at Montrose Port. The WellCONTAINED system provides subsea emergency response services.

ANTWERP, Belgium - Atlas Copco acquired German pump distributor IPV earlier this month.

IPV is based in Dresden, Germany. The company has around 20 employees.

The main market for IPV is the chemical industry.

"The industrial segment is key for us in order to further grow our pumps business," said Andrew Walker, business area president power technique. "The acquisition will strengthen our presence in the north west of Europe".
