This will be the first assembly plant and production unit for generator sets and azimuth thrusters in Brazil for Wärtsilä, a global provider of power generation solutions and services for ships and power plants. Covering 4,000 square meters of floor space, the unit will be able to receive up to 200 tons of equipment.
