BROOMFIELD, Colo. (March 5, 2015) – MWH Global, an engineering, consulting and construction firm focused on water and natural resources, has announced it was awarded a contract by the City of San Diego to manage and assist in the delivery of Pure Water San Diego.
In partnership with Brown and Caldwell, the initial five-year, $30 million MWH contract includes program management services to move the program from planning into implementation.

(27 February 2015)—Royal Dutch Shell plc (Shell) announced the Pearl gas-to-liquids (GTL) plant in Qatar entered planned maintenance in February 2015. Pearl GTL comprises two identical GTL trains, with a total capacity of 140,000 barrels per day of GTL products plus 120,000 barrels per day of natural gas liquids and ethane. One train, representing half the facility, has recently begun a planned turnaround maintenance progam, which will continue for a period of some 2 months.
