MANSFIELD, Ohio (June 3, 2014) – The Gorman-Rupp Company announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary, National Pump Company (“NPC”), has completed its purchase of the business of Bayou City Pump, Inc. ("BCP") based in Houston, Texas. During 2013, BCP had approximately $16 million in revenue from sales of its products and services through its Houston, Texas headquarters and its service facility location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The terms of the asset purchase agreement are undisclosed.
HOUSTON (June 3, 2014) – GE announced that it successfully completed its acquisition of Cameron’s Reciprocating Compression division for $550 million. The division provides reciprocating compression equipment and aftermarket parts and services for oil and gas production, gas processing, gas distribution and independent power industries. Cameron’s Reciprocating Compression division has approximately 900 employees and operates from 20 global locations.
