SUSSEX, Wis. (May 23, 2014) – Rotating Equipment Repair Inc. (RER) has received official recommendation from ASME and National Board for the issuance of NPT and NR certifications, respectively. In the two-year period leading up to certification, RER committed itself to expanding its capabilities in order to better provide for its nuclear and non-nuclear customers within the pump repair industry.

RER provides engineering services, repairs and parts for centrifugal pumps.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (May 21, 2014) – ITT Corporation announced that it has named Executive Vice President Aris Chicles as president of its Industrial Process business. Chicles will report to CEO and President Denise Ramos.

ZURICH (May 19, 2014) – ABB has won contracts worth in excess of $20 million to supply electrical power and propulsion systems for two offshore vessels.

The first vessel, of ULSTEIN SX165 design, is being constructed at Ulstein Verft in Norway for Island Ventures 11, the joint venture set up in 2012 by the leading US and Norwegian owners Edison Chouest Offshore and Island Offshore, whose advanced subsea service vessels provide high quality solutions to the offshore oil industry.
